Additional cast members and theme songs have been revealed in the new trailers.
The Ninja vs. Gokudo anime adaptation was announced six months ago. After some wait, it has finally been announced that the series will premiere on 8 October, 2025. The official website and social media accounts of the anime also confirmed 18 additional characters. Moreover, the theme songs of the show were also revealed in the two new teaser trailers. Prime Video will stream the anime exclusively worldwide.

The new ‘Ninja Side’ trailer features the opening theme song of the series ‘Sweet Dreams’ performed by popular Japanese guitarist MIYAVI.
The ending theme song ‘Until You Die Out’ performed by the band Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas is featured in the ‘Gokudo Side’ second trailer.
Toshinori Watabe directs the anime at Studio Deen. Keichiro Ōchi handles series composition while Toshiyuki Matsutake designs the characters. The anime is based on the popular manga series by Shinsuke Kondō, which began publishing in 2020. Kodansha publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:
Since ancient times, the ninja and the yakuza have been at war, spilling blood around the world as empires rise and fall. So when, in the modern age, Shinoha, a ninja, meets Kiwami, a gangster following the path of the yakuza—the gokudo—and discovers they have common interests, the obvious assumption is that nothing good can come of it. But can it be that one burgeoning bromance will shake up a 300-year grudge?
