The voice actors for one Cleaner and three Supporters have been announced.
Gachiakuta is definitely one of the Summer 2025 season’s breakout anime series. The first three episodes of the show have already bewitched fans worldwide and they’re eagerly waiting for more. Ahead of the release of the fourth episode, the anime’s social media sites revealed four new voice actors, including the voice of the Cleaners Headquarter’s receptionist- Semiu Grier.
Gachiakuta new cast members and other details
The four new voice actors joining the series are:
- Semiu Grier voiced by Mie Sonozaki (Nana Shimura in My hero Academia, Brandy Blumenthal in High Card)
- Gris voiced by Satoshi Hino (Daichi Sawamura in Haikyu!!, Kyōjurō Rengoku in Demon Slayer)
- Follo voiced by Kazuki Ura (Yoichi Isagi in Blue Lock, Uryu Sakaki in Wind Breaker)
- Tomme voiced by Hisako Tojo (Ozaki in Demon Slayer, Nagisa Yasaka in My Roommate is a Cat)
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Rudo voiced by Aoi Ichikawa
- Enjin voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi
- Zanka voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
- Riyo voiced by Yumiri Hanamori
The Gachiakuta anime is being directed by Fumihiko Suganuma at studio Bones Film. Hiroshi Seko is overseeing the scripts while Satoshi Ishino is the character designer and chief animation director. Taku Iwasaki composes the music for the anime.
Gachiakuta is adapted from Kei Urana’s dystopian action manga of the same name. Crunchyroll began simulreleasing the series internationally on 6 July, 2025, and describe the story as:
In a floating city where the rich discard their waste—and people—Rudo is framed for murder and thrown into the Pit, where a hellscape of mutated garbage beasts dwell. To survive, he must wield a new power and join the Cleaners. Rudo doesn’t just aim to battle monsters, but the corrupt who cast him into Hell.
