Will’s adventures continue with Season 2 coming Spring 2026.
The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the fantasy action anime series “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) has revealed new information for its upcoming Season 2, including a new teaser visual, trailer, staff, and a broadcast window of April 2026.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 details
According to the announcement, previous Season 1 director Tatsuya Yoshihara is now taking on the mantle of General Director, with Hideaki Nakano stepping into his shoes for Season 2. Production is still being handled by Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures.
Other than this directorial change, the rest of the Season 1 staff are returning for Season 2, with Sayaka Ono designing the characters and acting as chief animation director, and Yuki Hayashi once again composing the music.
Previous voice cast are also returning to reprise their roles, some of which include the main characters:
- Will Serfort: Kohei Amasaki
- Elfaria Albis Serfort: Akira Sekine
Although a broadcast window of April 2026 has been confirmed for Season 2, it seems fans will have to wait a bit longer for an exact date to be announced.
The anime adapts the manga by Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi, which began serialisation in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in December 2020. The manga is currently still ongoing, and so far has released 13 tankobon volumes. Season 1 released in 2024 with 12 episodes for the Summer broadcast season.
