The first season of the anime released its final episode.
This year’s popular fantasy anime I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! ('A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu) just revealed some great news. After the release of the series’ 24th and final episode, it was announced that a second season is already under production. This news came with a brand new visual on the official website.
I Left My A-Rank Party Season 2 details
Other than the production announcement, not much is known about the second season of the anime yet. The show’s character designer Masakazu Yamazaki drew the new key visual to celebrate Season 2. The first season of the anime started airing in January 2025 and broadcast its last episode on 28 June, 2025. Right after the airing of the final episode, the second season was announced.
Katsumi Ono directed the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handled the series composition while Masakazu Yamazaki designed the characters. Go Sakabe composed the music for the fantasy anime. The show is based on the light novel series of the same name written by Kōsuke Unagi and illustrated by Super Zombie. A manga adaptation by Yūri has also been released. Crunchyroll streams the series internationally and describes the story as:
Yuke, a red mage, angrily declares that he's leaving Thunder Pike, the A-rank party he's been with for five years, because he's fed up with being insulted and ridiculed by the other members.
While searching for a new party, he runs into his former students Marina, Silk, and Rain, and decides to join their party, Clover. Encouraged by their admiration of him as their teacher, Yuke leads them in completing several quests that show off his own extraordinary magic and skills while bringing out the girls' abilities to their fullest.
Then, through an "adventure broadcast" by an artifact known as Camelot, Clover becomes well-known throughout society. The party's dream is to conquer Achromatic Darkness, the most challenging dungeon of all, but as they take on other dungeons in hopes of eventually achieving that goal, they gradually become entangled in chaos that threatens the whole world...
