Kingdom Season 6 reveals three new cast members ahead of October release

The new characters are all part of the Hi Shin (Fei Xin) unit. 

After releasing its first promotional video a month ago, the sixth season of the epic adventure anime Kingdom finally revealed some new details. The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series announced that three new voice actors are joining the cast as members of the Hi Shin (Fei Xin) unit. Kingdom Season 6 is set to premiere in October 2025, although a definitive release date is yet to be revealed.

Kingdom Season 6 new cast, staff, and other details

The three new voice actors joining the cast are:

  • Sou Jin voiced by Sho Komura
  • Sou Tan voiced by Daichi Hayashi
  • Kan To voiced by Yu Hayashi

Studio Pierrot and Studio Signpost continue to produce the series with Kenichi Imaizumi returning as director. Noboru Takagi handles series composition, while Hisashi Abe designs the characters. Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto compose the music. The series aired its first season in 2012, with a second following in 2013. The third and fourth seasons aired in 2020 and 2022. The latest season, Season 5 aired in 2024. The anime is based on Yasuhisa Hara’s manga series of the same name. 

Crunchyroll streams the anime and describes the story as:

A nameless boy and a young king have grown up in a nation plagued by war. The boy, Xin, has countlessly proven himself on the battlefield, and although initially starting on bad terms, he and the young king, Zheng, have become comrades. Zheng wishes to bring all the warring states under Qin, while Xin climbs the ranks to become a Great General. Both of their ambitions will change history forever.
