The popular fantasy light novel series Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods, by Enju, just announced an anime adaptation. KADOKAWA announced the news, with the newly-opened official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series releasing a new key visual for the show. The anime adaptation is set to hit the screens in 2026, although a definitive release date is yet to be revealed.

Only a key visual of the series’ protagonist Minato Kusunoki and his wolf spirit friend has been released. Moreover, the light novel’s illustrator ox and the manga adaptation’s illustrator Akira Anzai have also released illustrations to celebrate the news.

The light novel series’ author Enju also released a statement thanking the fans for their unrelenting support, and hopes everyone who watches it would enjoy it. Yen Press publishes the novel in English and describes the story as:
Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki is left in charge of a terrifying house overflowing with evil spirits—or at least it was, until his extraordinary ability cleared them all out!
