The isekai fantasy adventure anime The Water Magician aired internationally on 2 July, 2025. Two weeks later, Crunchyroll revealed that they will stream the anime in English dub as well as the original Japanese version. The first episode of The Water Magician English dub is set to premiere on 17 July, 2025. Ahead of the release, Crunchyroll announced the main cast of the dub.

Hideyuki Satake is the director of the original version of the anime, which is being produced by TYPHOON GRAPHICS and Wonderland. Jun Kumagai handles series composition while Haruka Otsuzumi is the character designer. Akira Kosemura and Sayaka Aoki are in charge of music composition. The Water Magician anime is based on the novel series written by Tadashi Kubō and illustrated by Hana Amano. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Bokutengo has also been published.
