The anime was first announced in August 2024.

Last year, it was revealed that Mikihisa Konishi’s supernatural manga series “Petals of Reincarnation” (Reincarnation no Kaben) will receive an anime adaptation. Unfortunately after that, things became very quiet and fans didn’t get an update on the project anymore. Thankfully, after almost a year, HIDIVE announced that they’re co-producing the anime adaptation of “Petals of Reincarnation”.

"Petals of Reincarnation" anime adaptation details

Other than HIDIVE announcing their involvement with the project, no other details about the Petals of Reincarnation anime were revealed. The cast, staff, and release date of the show also remain unknown. But keep an eye on our page as we’ll keep you updated on any new developments regarding the anime.

The Petals of Reincarnation anime was first announced to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the manga. The original manga series by Mikihisa Konishi began publishing in May 2024. Mangamo digitally publishes the series in English and describes the story as:

Toya Senji is talentless. He’s tried everything but he can’t seem to excel at anything no matter how hard he tries. Then he meets Haito, a Kendo champion and… humanity’s protector? She uses the Stem of Reincarnation to draw on the abilities of her past lives, but it only works when she slits her own throat. And now she wants Toya to join her?!
