A brand new key visual of the anime has also been released.
The upcoming romcom anime series My Awkward Senpai just released its first preview video. Other than confirming an October 2025 premiere, the latest update also shared details about the anime’s cast, theme song, and more. Unfortunately, a definitive release date is yet to be announced.
My Awkward Senpai anime cast, staff, and other details
Previously, it was announced that the protagonist of the series Azusa Kannawa will be voiced by Lynn (Miyako Saito in Oshi no Ko, Princess Hibana in Fire Force). In the latest update, three new voice actors for the anime have been revealed. They are:
- Yu Kamegawa voiced by Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa in Chainsaw Man, Masaki Anzai in Wind Breaker)
- Miho Hotta voiced by Ami Maeshima (Aya Maruyama in BanG Dream!, Makeru Yadano in Komi Can’t Communicate)
- Ritsu Kankaiji voiced by Mitsuki Saiga (Nao in Skip and Loafer, Yelena in Attack on Titan)
The new PV of the anime also features the opening theme song ‘Bukiyo na I love you’ by angela. Ayumu Kotake is directing the office romance anime at Studio Elle. Mio Inoue is in charge of series composition and scripts, while Kenro Tokuda is designing the characters. Koji Fujimoto is in charge of music composition.
The anime is based on Makoto Kudo’s manga series of the same name. Manga UP! publishes the series in English and describes the story as:
