The romcom anime is coming out in October 2025.
The official website and social media accounts of the upcoming anime series Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days (Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi) just posted a massive update. The first trailer for the show was released, which introduced four new characters and their voice actors. Previously, it was announced that the anime will come out sometime in October 2025. Unfortunately, the exact release date is still yet to be confirmed.

The new voice actors joining the project are:
- Mei voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren in Sousou no Frieren, Anya Forger in Spy x Family)
- Hashiba voiced by Taito Ban (Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling, Tao Gwen in Kowloon Generic Romance)
- Izumi voiced by Rie Takahashi (Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko, Tomo Aizawa in Tomo-chan is a Girl)
- Tanaka voiced by Ryota Iwasawki (Medaka Kuroiwa in Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms, Inasa Yoarashi in My Hero Academia)
Previously, the two main characters of the series were announced. They are:
- Tsuyoshi Yano voiced by Kōhei Amasaki
- Kiyoko Yoshida voiced by Yuka Nukui
The trailer also features the opening theme song of the series ‘POP LIFE’ by FANTASTICS. Yayoi Tateishi has joined the project as sound director, with Bit Groove Promotion in charge of sound production, and Nippon TV Music in charge of music production. Shinpei Matsuo directs the romcom anime at Aija-do. Deko Akao is penning the scripts, with Toshihisa Kaiaya as the character designer. Hideakira Kimura is the music composer of the upcoming project.
The anime is based on Yui Tamura’s popular manga of the same name. It follows a high-school boy named Tsuyoshi Yano, who frequently gets into small accidents due to his bad luck and clumsiness. His class representative, the popular, kind, and perfect Kiyoko Yoshida starts worrying about him after seeing his various injuries. She starts to follow him around in hopes of saving him from accidents. This brings the two of them closer until they start developing feelings for each other.
