Given the popularity of the anime, manga, and novel, this is not surprising. However, in the Animation/Film subcategory, a Spring 2025 shoujo anime, The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl, has beaten everyone.

The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl, based on a web novel series written by Shirohi, is the most popular anime title from KADOKAWA for this quarter. The second place in the Animation/Film subcategory is taken by Once Upon a Witch’s Death, while The Shiunji Family Children takes the third place. It seems that KADOKAWA’s romance and adventure titles are gaining more popularity. The top 10 list consists of:
