New characters and voice actors for the upcoming series have also been revealed.
It was previously announced that the popular horse girl anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray is coming back with Part 2 in October. Recently, the official website and social media accounts of the series announced that the show will premiere on 5 October, 2025. Those who have been waiting for the second season to drop can now start counting down the date till release. Moreover, five new characters and their voice actors were also revealed in a character trailer.

The new cast members of the series include:
- Toni Bianca voiced by Yuko Kaida
- Obey Your Master voiced by Shizuka Ishigami
- Moonlight Lunacy voiced by Akira Sekine
- Michelle My Baby voiced by Ayahi Takagaki
- Ellerslie Pride voiced by Miyu Tomita
It was announced that 10 FEET will perform the opening theme song of Cour 2 of the anime, but the song itself has not been revealed yet. The anime has a large cast which mostly consists of horse girls who are taking part in the race. As Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray goes international with the Second Cour, people are excited to see the new characters on screen.
Cygames Pictures is producing the anime with Yuki Kito as director. Aki Kindaichi handles series composition while Takuya Miyahara and Keisuke Sasaki are designing the characters. The anime is part of the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby mixed-media franchise created by Cygames, which focuses on famous racehorses reborn as horse girls. The Pretty Derby anime came out in 2018, while the second and third seasons were released in 2021 and 2023. The Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray anime is adapted from the manga written by Masafumi Sugiura and illustrated by Taiyou Kuzumi. The series tells the story of Oguri Cap, whose wild running style has gotten her the nickname “monster”. But despite the hardships, she is determined to become the best racer in Japan.
