New cast members and a teaser visual have also been revealed.
The popular psychological seinen anime Oshi No Ko is coming back soon with a third season! The official website and social media accounts of the series announced that season 3 of the anime will air in January 2026. The news came alongside a brand new teaser visual and additional cast members who will appear in the upcoming sequel.
Oshi no Ko Season 3 new cast, staff, and other details
The new voice members who have joined the cast are:
- Shun Yoshizumi voiced by Yuto Takenaka
- Tetsu Urushibara voiced by Yoji Ueda
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Ai Hoshino voiced by Rie Takahashi
- Aqua Hoshino voiced by Takeo Ōtsuka
- Ruby Hoshino voiced by Yurie Igoma
- Kana Arima voiced by Megumi Han
- Akane Kurokawa voiced by Manaka Iwami
The new teaser visual focuses on Ruby, who is on the variety show Dig Deep! One Chance!!.
Moreover, a virtual live concert was also announced, which will take place at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater Main Hall in Aichi on 25 and 26 April, 2026. This kicks off the B-Komachi Live Tour 2026 - Beyond the Brilliance VirtualLive -, which will have a total of 12 performances.
Daisuke Himaraki continues to direct the series at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka is in charge of series composition while Kanna Hirayama designs the characters. Takuro Iga composes the music for the anime.
The series is based on the popular manga series Oshi no Ko written by Aka Akasaka, and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The manga ended back in November 2024 and faced a lot of backlash due to its finale.
Manga Plus publishes the series in English and describes the story as:
