The sixth season of the popular historical fiction anime Kingdom previously announced that the series will premiere on 4 October, 2025. Ahead of the release, the official website and social media accounts of the anime revealed five new cast members, as well as a brand-new trailer. The teaser also features the anime’s ending theme song.
Kingdom Season 6 new cast, staff, and other details
The new characters are all generals, and the voice actors who will be playing them are:

- Ba Nan Ji voiced by Hideaki Tezuka
- Chou Ga Ryū voiced by Hiroki Tōchi
- Gyou’un voiced by Kyōsuke Mano

The new trailer for the anime features the ending theme song ‘Hōkō’ (Roar) performed by Sora Tomonari. Ikimono-gakari performs the opening theme song ‘Ikite, Sansan’ (Live, Brilliantly).
Kenichi Imaizumi returns to Studio Pierrot and St. Signpost to direct the 6th season of Kingdom. Other returning staff members include script writer Noboru Takagi, character designer Hisashi Abe, and music composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto.
The beloved historical fiction anime is based on Yasuhisa Hara’s manga series of the same name. Crunchyroll streams the first five seasons of the anime right now and describes the story as:
A nameless boy and a young king have grown up in a nation plagued by war.
