It has been revealed that the hit action rom-com manga by Joumyako and Mizuki Yoda, “MARRIAGETOXIN” is getting a television anime!

MARRIAGETOXIN cast and staff
Haruki Ishiya, who voiced Kowashi Hara in WITCH WATCH, Shuichi Tsukamoto in Sound! Euphonium, and Daiya Iruma in 86, is set to play the role of Hikaru Gero.
Hikaru Gero is officially described as:
He is the heir to the Gero family, one of the great families known as “Poison Users,” and one of the most powerful professional killers. He is a top-class assassin.
Because he works in the underworld, he has no romantic experience and is not good with women. He begins looking for a wife out of necessity in order to inherit the family business.
On the other hand, Shion Wakayama is voicing Mei Kinosaki. Shion Wakayama is most known for her roles as Momo Ayase in DAN DA DAN, Asahi Amagami in Tying the Knot With an Amagami Sister, and Lemon Yakishio in Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!
Mei Kinosaki is officially described as:
He is a skilled marriage scammer who boasts that he can seduce almost anyone, regardless of gender, in 30 seconds.
He meets Gero and ends up helping him find a partner through an unexpected turn of events.
Motonobu Hori is directing the series at studio Bones Film, with series composition and script by Kimiko Ueno. The rest of the staff are:

“MARRIAGETOXIN” is an action romantic-comedy series written by Joumyako and illustrated by Mizuki Yoda. The title has been serialised in Shueisha’s online magazine ShonenJump+ since April 2022, and is currently still ongoing. The series has been collected into 14 tankobon volumes since August 2025.
Viz Media licensed MARRIAGETOXIN for an English release, and describes the story as:
