BLUELOCK Season 3 details
Not much has been revealed save that Season 3 is now in production. The third installment to the anime franchise will adapt the Neo Egoist League Arc of the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro. Yusuke Nomura will once again helm the upcoming season as director at studio Eight Bit, while other staff are yet to be confirmed.
The Neo Egoist League Arc will turn the Blue Lock program into a massive entertainment project with the sole purpose of further training its players for the U-20 World Cup. Expect some high-stakes tournaments, emotional evolutions, and more!
The first season of BLUE LOCK aired in 2022, and became a global phenomenon thanks to its fresh and thrilling take on football. It was quickly followed with Season 2 in 2024, although the production suffered with subpar animation that disappointed the show's fans. Both seasons are available to view on Crunchyroll, and also includes an English dub.
The manga on the other hand is currently still ongoing at Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. You can catch up on the latest chapter in our recap and review, where the players of team Blue Lock face off against Nigeria at the first match of the U-20 World Cup.
