“Disney Twisted-Wonderland” anime gets same-day English dub on 29 October

The anime will stream on Disney+ and Hulu.

A few weeks ago, it was announced that the anime adaptation of the Disney Twisted-Wonderland will air on 29 October, 2025. It was recently confirmed that the English-dub of the series will also air on the same day! This means fans won’t have to wait too long for the English dub to catch up as it’ll be simulcast. Disney has also revealed the cast and staff working on the dubbed version. The first season of the anime will adapt the first chapter of the game Episode of Heartslabyul.

Michael Sinterniklaas directs the English-dub of the anime at NYAV Post.  The assistant directors are Brittany Lauda and Stephanie Sheh, who’s also the casting director. Reuben Lack produces the project while  Madeleine Morris adapts the scripts.  The mixer is Michael Archacki, while the recordists include Luiz Gomez, Sebastian Franco, Justin Ramos, and Peter Iuretig. Finally, Courtney Voorhees supervises the production.

The original Japanese version of the anime revealed the full cast and crew some time ago. The first season of the anime will debut on Disney+ and Hulu with a total of 8 episodes. Three total seasons are set to be released, all based on the game’s accompanying manga. The titles of the three seasons are: Episode of Heartslabyul, Episode of Savanaclaw, and Episode of Octavinelle. 

The story of Disney Twisted-Wonderland follows Yuken Enma, a boy who is one day summoned to another world by a magic mirror. He ends up in a sinister academy called the Night Raven College, where the different dorms are based on the villains of different Disney animated movies. Enma meets the school’s mysterious headmaster and the genius students who might be able to help him get back to his home.
