Mono unveils first promotional video, announces additional staff and key visual

Afro's newest creation, Mono, unveiled its first promotional video while announcing additional staff and key visual for the anime project.

Mono, the newest creation from Laidback's Camp creator, Afro, unveiled its first promotional video containing additional staff, new ending song, and key visual for the anime project. The anime adapted from the 4-koma manga also features Halca's song “Weekend Roll” as its ending song.

As the singer of the ending theme, Halca also shared some comments with a video on the Aniplex YouTube channel:

The anime will have an advance screening of its first episode on 29 March in Kofu City in Yamanashi Prefecture, and on 5 April in Tokyo.

Aniplex produced the anime alongside Studio Soigne as the animation studio and Ryota Aikei as the director. Takuya Miyahara from Shikimori-san's fame will be the one in charge of character design. 

Mono follows the story of high school girls in the cinephoto club, which combines cinema and photography. Once separated, the club was merged into one to prevent shutting down. Haruna Minagawa will be the voice of Satsuki Amamiya, while Aoi Koga will get the role of An Kiriyama from the cinephoto club.

Mono is set to premiere in April 2025.
