Futari Solo Camp, or Solo Camping For Two, anime adaptation is set to release on July 2025, and the live-action adaptation will come out on January 9, 2025.
The Futari Solo Camp manga is a seinen romance series revolving around cozy camping. Written by Yudai Debata, the story revolves around a 34-year-old man named Gen Kinokura, who has mastered the art of camping alone. During one such peaceful trip, he meets 20-year-old college student Shizuku Kusano, a bright-eyed college student who wants to learn the tricks behind solo camping. When she sees Gen, Shizuku asks him to mentor her and they start going on camping trips together.
The official Futari Solo Camp anime X (formerly Twitter) account released a new trailer for the upcoming show on January 1, 2024. Fans learned that the series will debut on Tokyo MX and other stations sometime in July 2025, although the definitive release date has not yet been revealed. The preview video introduced the two main characters and how their lives and fates will intertwine after meeting each other. The cozy story will show Gen and Shizuku living their own lives while meeting from time to time for their escapades. The duo will cook delicious food and explore new camping spaces together, becoming closer in the process.

Win Morisaki and Miyu Honda will play the two main characters in the show. The anime, which will come out later in the year, is being produced by SynergySP, known for their work on projects such as Mr. Villain’s Day Off, A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics, and the upcoming romance series, Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms. Daiki Hamano will voice Gen in the anime, with Mizuki Nizaki as Shizuku.
