Secrets of the Silent Witch is one of the most popular anime series of Summer 2025. It gained popularity after fans started to compare the socially anxious protagonist Monica to Bocchi from “Bocchi the Rock!”. However, it quickly became a fan-favourite with just the first few episodes. Now, Crunchyroll is bringing the English-dub of the anime on their platform for a wider audience to enjoy. The first three episodes of the anime’s English dub will be released on 18 July, 2025.

The original anime series began airing on 4 July, 2025. But the English dub will quickly catch up as all three initial episodes will be released on the same day. Yasuo Iwamoto is the director of the original series under Studio Gokumi. Takaomi Kanasaki is serving as chief director and series composer. Cona Nitanda is the character designer while Rina Tayama composes the music. The opening theme song “Feel” and the ending theme song “mild days” are both performed by The hitsujibungaku band.
The anime series is based on the light novel series written by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi. A manga adaptation by Tobi Tana is also being published. Crunchyroll streams the anime and describes the story as:
