Vtuber Ironmouse exits Vshojo over unpaid and mismanaged funds

Ironmouse alleged that Vshojo mismanaged funds from her charity stream.

In what may come as a shock to many, popular Vtuber Ironmouse released a video revealing her departure from Vshojo, just this 21 July, 2025. Her departure is rendered as effective immediately.

The reason for Ironmouse’s hasty exit, which she gave through a YouTube video, was that Vshojo allegedly “misled” her, and that the group owed her “a significant amount of money” as well as pocketing over US$500,000 in funds from her charity stream for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

Ironmouse enters legal dispute with Vshojo over mismanaged funds

Further in her announcement, Ironmouse stated that she can unfortunately no longer give out details as per her attorney’s advice, signifying that the Vtuber has taken the legal route to resolve the issue.

Although there’s little information that Ironmouse can give now, she stated that she will relay the whole story once more of the legal procedure to unfold.

Ironmouse also cited that the funds from a specific charity “Subathon” event, which she stated will have 50% of its earnings donated, is yet to be given to the Immune Deficiency Fund.

The charity “Subathon” in question is most likely her 2024 SUBTember event, where she surpassed fellow Twitch streamer Kai Cenat to attain over 321,000 subscriptions.

As fans of her might know, Ironmouse is a passionate supporter of the Immune Deficiency Foundation, as she herself struggles with Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). The affliction led to her choosing to become a Vtuber back in 2017, as it had rendered her largely bedridden and isolated, leading to her becoming lonely. To Ironmouse, Vtubing has opened her doors to a wider audience and a plethora of friendships, which only skyrocketed her even further when she joined Vshojo as one of its charter members in 2020.

There’s more questions than answers, and Vshojo is yet to give a statement in response to Ironmouse’s allegations.
