During the San Diego Comic-Con International on Thursday, 24 July, Bandai Namco announced a brand new project at the Gundam panel. The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans series, which came out in 2015, is getting a special compilation movie of its spin-off game Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt. The anime film is set to be released in Japan on 31 October, 2025. It will also be broadcast in America, although a premiere date remains unknown.

The upcoming movie is titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Urdr Hunt – -Path of the Little Challenger. It’s an anime adaptation of the game Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt, which takes place in between the two seasons of The Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans anime series. It has been confirmed that the upcoming movie will compile all 12 episodes of the game, which had anime elements.
The Urdr-Hunt project was released on the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans G app in 2022. The app has since been defunct and the compilation film will be a great way for fans to revive their memories of what happened during Urdr-Hunt. The oroginal anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans premiered in 2015, with its second season following in 2016.
