The magical Isekai donggua has taken the world by storm.
The Chinese donghua series “Lord of Mysteries” is the new obsession of anime fans worldwide. With its Lovecraftian horror and complicated lore, the show has become a fan favourite in just a few weeks. Crunchyroll, determined to help it reach a wider audience, announced that the English-dub of the series will air soon. It was revealed that the dubbed version of the first two episodes will be released on 25 July, 2025. The main cast of the series was also unveiled.

The donghua adaptation is being produced by B.CMay PICTURES. Ke Xiong directs the series while Yuan Ye writes it. The series is based on a web novel series by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving (爱潜水的乌贼). The story revolves around a youth named Zhou Mingrui, who is transmigrated into the body of a man named Klein Moretti who lives in a world resembling the Victorian Era but with divine magic. Those who get divine powers and ascend the Pathways are known as Beyonders. Zhou aka Klein is determined to find a way back to his own world, but many hurdles stand in his way.
