The upcoming yuri dark fantasy series is set to release sometime in 2026.
Courtesy of a press release from Crunchyroll Japan and AQUA ARIS, new information for the upcoming “ROLL OVER AND DIE: Will Fight For an Ordinary Life With My Love and Cursed Sword!” (“Omae Gotoki ga Maou ni Kateru to Omou na”; to Gachizei ni Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou Sareta node, Outo de Kimama ni Kurashitai) has been revealed!
The new information includes the upcoming yuri dark fantasy series' main staff, additional cast, and second teaser trailer. ROLL OVER AND DIE is set to premiere sometime in 2026, although an exact date has yet to be revealed.

The second teaser video features a scene where the protagonist, Flum, is chosen by the creator god Origin, joining the Hero’s Party.
Flum’s experience with the Hero’s party is disastrous, as although she was chosen, her zero stats lead to her being mistreated by her allies. In the end, Flum is betrayed and sold into slavery.
However, Flum ends up meeting another enslaved girl named Milkit, with the teaser video ending with their escape.

The teaser video debuted the additional voice cast for the series, who are:

- Miki Kariya as Cyrill Sweechka
- Makoto Yasumura as Jean Inteige
- Miaski Kuno as Eterna Rinebow
- Takaya Kuroda as Gadhio Lathcutt
- Aya Endow as Maria Afenjuns
- Jin Ogasawara as Linus Radiants
Miku Ito also released a comment regarding her role as Milkit, stating that:
Milkit has lived her entire life as a slave since she was a child, and because of that, she struggles to express emotions—both through words and facial expressions.
I want to put my all into portraying Milkit as she slowly begins to change after meeting Flum, and to convey her devoted, innocent, and endearing nature as sincerely as I can.
Previously, it was revealed that the main character Flum will be voiced by Ayaka Nanase.
ROLL OVER AND DIE is directed by Nobuharu Kamanaka, who is known for directing Detective Conan: Case Closed, Big Order, and A Certain Scientific Accelerator, at studio ACGT. The series composition is done by Mariko Kunisawa, while the character designs are handled by Miki Matsumoto, Fumio Matsumoto, Takashi Fukuyo, and Takafumi Furusawa. Ryo Takahashi is in charge of music.
ROLL OVER AND DIE is based on a Japanese light novel series written by kiki and illustrated by kinta, and began serialisation as a web novel through Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2018. Micro Magazine acquired the series, and released it in print through their GC Novels Imprint in July 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the series for an English release.
The series also got a manga adaptation in December 2018, with art by Sunao Minakata. The manga has been serialised online through Micro Magazine’s Comic Ride Website, with Seven Seas Entertainment licensing for an English release. There are currently seven volumes for the manga.
The story of ROLL OVER AND DIE is officially described as:
Though born with zero status, Flum is chosen by divine prophecy to join a Hero’s Party.
Her only ability is an unknown and mysterious skill called “Reversal.”
As expected, she proves useless in battle, but continues to do her best to support the party with dedication.However, the party’s genius Sage, Jean, finds her a nuisance.
He bullies her at every opportunity and eventually sells her off to a slave trader.
Branded as worthless even there, Flum is offered up as a snack for a monster—just for entertainment.She is faced with two choices:
Take hold of a cursed blade said to bring death to its wielder,
