The new arc will begin streaming on 18 August.
Sakamoto Days Cour 2 will start streaming the series’ JCC Entrance Exam arc with its 17th episode. Ahead of the release, the official website and social media accounts of the anime revealed additional cast members, as well as a brand new teaser trailer showcasing what’s in store for Sakamoto and Shin. The overall 17th episode of the series is set to air on Monday, 18 August, 2025, on Netflix.

The new voice actors joining the cast are:
- Nao Toramaru voiced by Hisako Kanemoto
- Joichiro Kaji voiced by Tomoaki Maeno
- Shinaya voiced by Tatsumaru Tachibana
Masaki Watanabe directs the Sakamoto Days anime series at TMS Entertainment. Taku Kishimoto is in charge of series composition while Yo Moriyama designs the characters. Yuki Hayashi is composing the music for the series. The anime is based on Yuto Suzuki’s popular action comedy manga series of the same name. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes the story of Sakamoto Days as:
