The racing anime’s third season also revealed a new teaser visual.
A new update for the upcoming MF Ghost Season 3 anime has been revealed at the Initial D 30th Anniversary 2days event held at Fuji Speedway, Shizuoka last Saturday 13 September.
The update unveiled a new treasure visual and a planned broadcast window for January 2026. The news was also posted on MF Ghost’s official website.

Other than the broadcast window and new visual, no other information was divulged for Season 3.
The anime adapts Shuichi Shigeno’s manga of the same name, and acts as a sequel series to his critically acclaimed manga “Initial D”. MF Ghost was launched in Kodansha’s Young Magazine in September 2017, and ended only this year on 17 February, the series suffered a hiatus in 2022 due to Shigeno’s poor health.
The first season for the anime premiered in October 2023, followed by Season 2 in October 2024. Season 3 was announced to be in production when the final episode of Season 2 aired in December 2024.
Tomohito Naka directs the series at Felix Film, with screenplay by Kenichi Yamashita and Akihiko Inari. The character design is handled by Naoyuki Onda. Crunchyroll streams the first two seasons online.
