The final episode of DANDADAN Season 2 is now available for streaming.
The 12th and final episode of the second season of fantasy battle anime DANDADAN came out on 18 September, 2025. On the same day, the official website and social media accounts of the anime confirmed that the series has been renewed for a third season. Although we don’t know much details about the next sequel, fans can rest assured that the series will come back with some mind blowing action soon!
DANDADAN Season 3 details
To confirm the production of DANDADAN Season 3, a new visual has been released. It includes Momo, Okarun, and Turbo Granny, three of the central characters of the series. No other details like the release date or production staff have been confirmed. Season 3 of DANDADAN will cover the Space Globalists Arc of the manga.
The second season of the popular anime was directed by Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora at Science SARU. Hiroshi Seko writes the scripts for the series while Naoyuki Onda designs the characters. Kensuke Ushio is the music producer for the anime. The first season of the show aired from October to December 2024, while the second season ran from July to September, 2025.
DANDADAN is based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga series of the same name that started publishing in 2021. Viz Media publishes the manga in English. Crunchyroll currently streams both seasons of DANDADAN and describes the story as:
When high schooler Momo, from a family of spirit mediums, first meets her classmate Okarun, an occult geek, they argue—Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts.
