A mysterious group of people help her right in the nick of time.
In the previous chapter of Dandadan manga, we saw Momo and Vamola band together to defeat the chameleon alien and its massive camouflage. Unfortunately, Vamola loses her Kaiju suit during the battle, and without the suit, she can’t see Momo. After failing to find Vamola, Momo’s tiny body starts to vanish as nobody can see or feel her anymore. But at that moment, a group of masked strangers show up to help her.

Dandadan Chapter 209 recap
The issue begins with the chameleon alien’s body falling apart. His camouflage of the castle and the neighbouring buildings all vanish as well, causing Momo and Vamola to fall to the ground. Momo realises that not only the castle, but the other buildings were also a part of the alien's camouflage as they all disappear and she stands alone in the middle of a field. She tries to call Vamola, and remembers that without her Kaiju suit, she can neither see nor hear Momo. Unfortunately, due to her small body Momo can’t see very far and can’t find Vamola.
As Momo looks around the vast empty field around her, she wonders if her grandmother is okay. Staring up at the large moon, she wonders what time it is now. Suddenly, tears start flowing down her cheeks as she feels incredibly lonely. She remembers all her friends and wishes to go back home. We then see Momo’s tiny body breaking into smaller light particles until she’s completely gone. It seems that the curse is finally complete and nobody can see nor hear Momo anymore as her presence has completely disappeared.
In the next panel, we see a group of masked people approaching the field, with a man wearing a more complicated mask leading them. He stops at the place where Momo disappeared and asks if she’s there. He then holds out his palm onto the ground and asks her to hop on if she’s there. He tells the invisible Momo that she doesn’t need to worry as matters have concluded for her two friends (Zuma and Daiki), and she’s the only one left to return to normal. He heads into a beautiful temple with her, and we see that a ritual room has been prepared.
The man, who had put Momo’s tiny invisible body into a small leaf boat, gently lets it down onto the room’s floor, which is filled with water. He then uses a hammer, presumably the Uchide-no-Kozuchi, to touch the surface of the water. Suddenly, there’s an explosion in the water. Two of the other masked priests run to the source with some clothes. In the final panel, we see them retrieve Momo’s unconscious, and full-sized body out of the water.
Dandadan Chapter 209 review
Momo is back! She’s finally back! It has been more than 40 chapters since she had turned small and I really thought we had lost her this time. However, Tatsu pulled through at the last moment! I don’t know who these masked priests are, but I can’t wait to find out their identities. Not only did they turn Momo back to her normal size at the nick of time, but also cured Zuma’s blindness and Daiki’s rapid aging. This means we’ll soon meet all of these characters. It’s likely that we’ll get an update on Vamola, Seiko, and Jiji soon. However, I can’t wait for Okarun and Momo to finally meet again!
