Konami Digital Entertainment released the first short video of the new Yu-Gi-Oh! short series.
On Tuesday, 22 April, Konami Digital Entertainment released the first short anime video of Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles on YouTube. This video is the first in a series, and new short animations will come out every month with different storylines. The first animated short and all the upcoming episodes of the series will be available on the yugiohOGCch YouTube channel.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles Episode 1 details
The inaugural episode of the series is titled: Sky Striker Ace - Raye. It is the first installment of the Sky Striker Ace arc, which will continue through May. In the first episode, Raye is voiced by Anna Nagase (Natsuko Hirose in Zenshu, Rico Amanai in Jujutsu Kaisen), and Roze is voiced by Nene Hieda (Akari Minase in Kaiju No. 8, Nazuna Endō in Too Cute Crisis). Subtitles for the video are available in English, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
The short video describes the story as:
“To counter the great powers surrounding the mighty empire, the "Sky Striker" was developed using advanced military technology.
Its power was enough to instantly change the course of battle. 1
The girl "Raye," entrusted with the "Sky Striker," repeatedly encounters the girl "Roze" from the hostile nation wielding equal power on the battlefield.
Each time they clash with the "Sky Striker," Raye gradually gets a glimpse of the "human heart" within Roze and rises up to free her!
To meet Roze not as a "weapon" but as a "person"---”
