Two new cast members have also been revealed.
The popular Isekai anime I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability was renewed for a second season after a successful inaugural season in 2024. It was revealed by the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime that Season 2 of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince will air on 9 July, 2025, making it a part of the Summer Season lineup.

Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab is returning to produce the second season, with Jin Tamamura directing. Naoki Tozuka is writing the scripts while Shigeru Nishigori designs the characters. R.O.N OF Stereo Dive Foundation is in charge of music composition. Crunchyroll streams the show outside of Asia while Muse Communications has its rights for Asia and Southeast Asia.
The anime is adapted from the popular light novel series by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. The series focuses on a mediocre sorcerer, who has no family name or genius aptitude to speak of. When he dies in a freak magical accident, the man is reincarnated as the seventh Prince Lloyd of the Kingdom of Saloum. Having six siblings before him, Lloyd is not really in contest for the throne. This gives him the time to practice his magic and put his genius aptitude and memories to live a worry-free life.
