The theatrical release will have the title DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE.
Ahead of its Summer premiere, the second season to the smash hit series Dandadan is set to compile its first three episodes into a movie format that’s coming to theatres worldwide! The compilation movie will also feature an exclusive interview with co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora, and will pick up where Season 1 left off.
DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye premiere dates
As previously announced by the series, the DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye compilation film will premiere in the following territories on these dates:
- Southeast Asia and other Asian regions: 30 May, via MUSE
- North America/Australia and New Zealand: 6 June, via GKIDS and Sugoi Co
- Europe: 7 June via ADN
- Italy: 4–8 June
- Germany and Austria: 10 June
Dandadan Season 2 cast and staff
Dandadan’s Season 2 is set to release on 3 July for the Summer 2025 season, and has revealed a new cast member in Mutsumi Tamura, who is set to play the role of Evil Eye.

Dandadan Season 2 plot and other details
Based on the hit shounen manga by Tatsu Yukinobu, Dandadan’s second season will pick up where Season 1 left off. With Okarun and Jiji discovering the menacing hidden room in Jiji’s house, the people of the village appear to become a larger threat than what they seem. And with Momo separated from the rest, how will the gang come together to solve this mystery?
But there’s more to this series of events that meet the eye, as Jiji’s connection with what could be a malevolent spirit may spell certain doom!
