The anime will begin airing this July.
Get ready for another fantasy adventure this upcoming Summer Anime season. The White Mage Who was Banished From the Hero's Party is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer: This White Mage is Too Out of the Ordinary!, based on the light novel series written by Sora Suigetsu and illustrated by DeeCHA, is coming out this July 2025. After revealing the main and additional cast, on Thursday 8 May, the series unveiled two new characters and their voice actors.

The two new cast members joining the project are:
- Will voiced by Toshiki Masuda (Eiijiro Kirishima in My Hero Academia, Chikara Ennoshita in Haikyu!!)
- Ryouen voiced by Nichika Omori (Ena Ibarada in Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It, Jobko in Do It Yourself)

Hiroshi Tamada directs the series at Felix Film. Inari Akihiko is overseeing the series composition with Yuuta Ito as the character designer.
