This season’s popular fantasy anime The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows just revealed some exciting news for the fans. On 22 May, 2025, the anime will enter its next arc with Episode 8. Ahead of the premiere, the show introduced two new voice actors, as well as a trailer highlighting what’s to come.

Three new voice actors are joining the cast for the upcoming Royal Institute of Healing arc of the anime. They are:
- Becker, voiced by Takehito Koyasu (Dio in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures, Zeke Jaegar in Attack on Titan)
- Cress, voiced by Setsuo Ito (Mob in Mob Psycho 100, Minami in Days)
- Goldran, voiced by Tetsu Inada (Endeavor in My Hero Academia, Ira Gamagoori in Kill la Kill)

Zenos has agreed to find a missing healer named Afred in exchange for keeping his illegal clinic a secret. The trailer really drives home the seriousness of the next arc.
The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows anime is based on the light novel series by Sakaku Hisikawa. The series is illustrated by Daburyu. It also has a manga adaptation by Ten Jūnoichi. A WebToon adaptation of the story, by Minsam and RocketStaff Inc., began this year in January. According to Cunchyroll, which streams the series globally, the premise of the show is:
