The second season of the popular anime series Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua is coming back next month! It was announced by both Netflix and the official Pokémon news website that the third part of the series will air on 27 June, 2025 in the USA. A sneak peak was also released to accompany the news.
Pokémon Horizons to return with Liko and Roy’s next adventures
Liko, Roy, Dot, and Friede are coming back with their impressive roster of Pokémons in the next part of the series. In the sneak peak, we can see them attending a summer festival. After finishing their Tera Training, Liko, Roy, and Dot are ready to reunite with the Rising Volt Tacklers again. They will continue their journey to find the enigmatic land known as Laqua. The Pokémon Horizons anime started in Japan back in April 2023 with its first part. The second part, came out in October 2023. The Search for Laqua, which is the second season, started in April 2024. In October 2024, the second part of season 2 debuted in Japan. The third part, and overall fifth arc has already begun releasing in Japan this April. In the USA, the anime premiered in March 2024, with its second part following in May 2024. The third part began last August with the fourth part releasing in November 2024.
The anime is directed by Saori Den with Daiki Tomiyasu as the creative director. Dai Satō is writing the scripts while Tetsuo Yajima is directing the action. Rei Yamazaki is the character designer while Kyōko Itō is the sub-character designer. Masafumi Mima is handling the sound direction while Conisch composes the music.
