Touring After the Apocalypse cast, staff, and other details

The premiere window was announced during a livestream on the official Aniplex YouTube channel on 27 May. The two main cast members Konomi Itagaki and Miyu Tomita were the ones to make the announcement. The voice actors play the roles of:

  • Youko voiced by Konomi Itagaki (Mina in My Wife Has No Emotions, Polyxia in Honkai: Star Rail)
  • Airi voiced by Miyu Tomita (Miko Iino in Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Shiho Manabe in Classroom of the Elite).

The series is being produced by Aniplex and animated by Nexus. The original manga is written and illustrated by Sakae Saito, who also drew an illustration celebrating the October release. Yen Press licenses the manga in English and describes the story as:

“Youko and Airi are riding through Gunma Prefecture when Youko collapses from inhaling Mount Asama’s volcanic gases! Luckily, a mysterious lone boy appears just in time to rescue the pair. He takes them to the nearby Kusatsu hot spring resort for some much-needed rest and recuperation—but as the girls’ relationship with him grows, getting back on the road becomes ever more complicated…”
