The Eminence in Shadow is the new isekai anime to make a debut in the chibi series.
The adorable and fantastical chibi-style anime series Isekai Quartet just announced that it will be returning with a third season. According to the official website of the anime, a new Isekai protagonist and other characters from the anime will join the cast next season. Unfortunately, there’s no information about the release date yet.
The Eminence in Shadow Meets Isekai Quartet
The new key visual of the series announcing the arrival of Season 3 includes the chibi version of our favourite Isekai heroes - Kazuma (KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!), Ainz (Overlord), Subaru (Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World), Tanya (The Saga of Tanya the Evil), and Naofumi (The Rising of the Shield Hero). However, it also includes a sixth character- Shadow, the protagonist of The Eminence in Shadow.
The Eminence in Shadow is a popular isekai novel written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Tōzai. Its anime adaptation began back in 2022. After so many popular Isekai heroes joined the cast of Isekai Quartet, it’s only expected that Shadow will be next. Fans are also excited to see which other characters from the manga make it to the chibi series with the protagonist.
Isekai Quartet is an original anime produced by Studio Puyuki, written and directed by Minoru Ashina. Minoru Takahara is in charge of character design while Ruka Kawada composes the music. The first season came out in 2019, followed by the second in 2020. A movie titled Isekai Quartet The Movie: Another World has also come out.
