The light anime has also revealed its theme songs ahead of a 9 July premiere.
The light anime adaptation for the “With Vengeance, Your Broken Saintess” light novel series has revealed more information on its official website, and has unveiled additional cast and its theme songs. The series previously confirmed a 9 July premiere.

The opening theme song, ‘DiZZY’, is performed by Washio Reina, while the ending theme, ‘Abyss’, is performed by Nonpy.
The anime will premiere on 9 July, and will start airing on CBC TV on 12 July. It will also be available on various streaming services in Japan, although there is no confirmation that the series will receive a global release.
The anime series is being adapted by IMAGICA Infos/ Imageworks Studio. Chisaki is directing the project while Yuichi Imaizumi is in charge of sound direction. Hiroki Nozaki and Airi Kobayashi are in charge of the sound effects. The overall production is being overseen by Kazuya Takahashi.
Pocket Comics, who publishes the series in English describes the story as:
Rua is a saintess candidate who possesses the power of healing. But her ability had one flaw: she could only heal others by transferring their wounds onto herself. Because of this, others bullied her, calling her the "Fallen Saintess." But it didn't bother Rua because her best friend Arianne always stood up for her.
One day, Rua's crush, Commander Garrett, was on the brink of death from a beast attack. Rua healed him, which left her on the verge of death. When she woke up, she learned that all the credit was given to Arianne, and she finally saw her best friend's true color. Devastated, Rua is lost and helpless when the second prince appears in front of her with a tempting offer. What would happen to Rua as she begins her new life as a villainess?
