The popular romcom manga series Tamon’s B-Side (Tamon-kun Ima Docchi?) is getting an anime adaptation in January 2026. Although a release date hasn’t been revealed yet, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime had some exciting news for fans. We learned that the anime is also getting a tie-in voice drama series, while a brand new music video from the in-anime idol group was released.
Tamon’s B-Side anime cast, staff, and other details
The new music video features the song ‘F/ace Off’ from the series in-story idol group F/ace. The song is also available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and other platforms. Tamon’s B-Side will release voice drama episodes each month on the anime’s X account and YouTube channel. The “A-Side Talk ‘F/ace Liner Talk: Let's Talk About the F/ace Off Music Video’” will be released on 25 June with “B-Side Talk ‘Tamon & О̄ri's Group Evaluation’” releasing on Animate's Kikigatari service on the same day.

Chika Nagaoka directs the anime at J.C Staff. Chiaki Nagai is in charge of writing and overseeing the scripts while Yōko Itō is the character designer and chief animation director. Shochiku, King Records, and Hakusensha are producing the anime. The original manga series is written and illustrated by Yuki Shiwasu. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes the story as:
