A brand new key visual of the characters has been released.
One of the most popular romance anime series of this age is making a comeback! That’s right, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is all set to release a new TV special titled The Stairway to Adulthood (Otona e no Kaidan). The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the anime revealed this news.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, no details about the staff and release date have been announced. It is most likely that the main cast will return to voice the characters, which includes:
- Kaguya Shinomiya voiced by Aoi Koga
- Miyuki Shirogane voiced by Makoto Furukawa
- Chika Fujiwara voiced by Konomi Kohara
- Yu Ishigami voiced by Ryōta Suzuki
- Ai Hayakasa voiced by Yumiri Hanamori
- Miko Iino voiced by Miyu Tomita
The new key visual for the anime shows these six characters with an airplane in the middle, which indicates one of them leaving. The title suggests that the friends will now start to move on with their lives in different directions. It would be interesting to see how Shirogane and Shinomiya handle the change.
The anime series is based on the manga series by Aka Akasaka which ran from 2015 to 2022. The first season of the anime came out in 2019, followed by the second in 2020. An OVA episode came out in 2021 and a film was released in 2022. Crunchyroll streams all of the series and movie on their platform and describes the story as:
