Studio Elle produces the new office romance.
The official website and social media accounts for the upcoming rom-com anime My Awkward Senpai announced that the series will air on 2 October, 2025 on Japanese TV. However, streaming will begin a few days later on 6 October, 2025. The anime is based on Makoto Kudo’s manga series of the same name.

Ayumu Kotake directs the adorable office romance anime at Studio Elle. Mio Inoue writes the scripts while Kenro Tokuda designs the characters for the series. Koji Fujimoto composes the music. The anime’s opening theme song ‘Bukiyō na I love you’ is being performed by angela, while Ami Maeshima performs the ending theme song ‘Bukiyō ni Kimi no Tonari’. Manga Up! publishes the official English version of Makoto Kudo’s original manga, and describes the story as:
