Riyo tries to come up with a plan to cut through Felix’s ironclad shield.
The destructive Adderoy twins are back to their senses, thanks to Rudo taking off their Chokers in the previous chapter. In the latest issue of the Gachiakuta manga, we see the Twins regain their senses and fight against the other Doll Festival performers who are under Mymo’s control. But it seems that Mymo is only attacking them to gauge the Cleaners’ strength. On the other hand, Riyo watches Felix’s shield like a hawk.

The issue begins with the Adderoy Twins’ monstrous doll figures falling lull as Rudo points out that they don’t fall under Mymo’s ‘Rule’ anymore since he took off their Chokers. In the next panel, the reawakened Twins start screaming ‘SKADOOSH!’, leaving Rudo dumbfounded. They thank Rudo for freeing them from Mymo’s evil rule and introduce themselves as Otto and Epalte Adderoy. They want to hug Rudo, but he refuses and offers to give them a rundown of what happened. But the twins tell him that they were conscious the whole time while under Mymo’s spell and know everything about the situation.
The brothers want to smash Mymo, but Felix’s ironclad shield’s in the way. Although they realise they can free everyone from Mymo’s hold by taking off their Chokers, the brothers say that they’re not cut out for such tedious work like that. Instead, they decide to deal with the other powerful Doll Festival performers who are under Mymo’s control. Rudo watches in awe as the brothers use their Synchro Technique to completely obliterate multiple massive dolls created by the performers in a heartbeat with their powerful twin monster-dolls. Rudo realises that he won’t be able to work with the forceful and destructive team ‘Danger’.
Mymo says in his mic that those who won’t participate in infighting should leave the stage. Felix worriedly asks if they should retreat since the Cleaners are going to undo Mymo’s rule one Choker at a time. Mymo just smiles and says that he only wants to see how much time it takes them to counter his rule. Humans will always fight his control, and he will need to come up with a counter to their counter. This is perfect practice for that. Felix apologises because he didn’t know Mymo’s deeper plan.
Mymo also says that he doesn’t know how long Gountess, the Choker Maker, can be of use to him. He needed to find a new potential tool who could help him rule the world. And it seems he has his sights set on Amo, whose Vital Instrument can also control people. Suddenly, he notices a crackle in the barrier and tells Felix that the time has come to test how strong his ironclad barrier is. We see Riyo sitting on top of a mound, looking intently at them. Mymo comments that those are the eyes of a beast who’s figuring out how to bust a turtle’s shell open. Felix determinedly comments that he will smash the beast along with her fangs.
Gachiakuta Chapter 145 review
No matter how many times I read Gachiakuta, I will never get over how amazing and intense Kei Urana’s art can be, especially during fight scenes. Although short, the panels of the Adderoy Twins crushing the other dolls was breathtaking. On the other hand, the story is also getting more interesting as it seems Mymo has targeted Amo. With her Watchman Series shoes, she can be the final piece in the megalomaniac’s puzzle to bring the world to its knees.
It seems that the Cleaners have more to worry about when it comes to Mymo and his followers. But right now, I’m only interested in seeing how Riyo takes down Felix’s barrier, in a battle that would be the perfect example of “unstoppable force meets immovable object”.
