HORNETS produces the anime based on Ippei Nara’s manga.
The upcoming fantasy anime series 29-Sai Dokushin Chūken Bōkensha no Nichijō (The Everyday Life of a 29-Year Old Middling Adventurer) just revealed that it will premiere in January 2025. The release window was confirmed by the official website and social media accounts of the anime, although a definitive date is yet to be confirmed. The anime also introduced three new characters and their voice actors, as well as a brand new key visual.

The new cast members of the series are:
- Veronica voiced by Shizuka Itō
- Ananyago voiced by Yuki Kuwahara
- Richat voiced by Tomohiro Ono
The previously announced main cast of the anime are:
- Hajime Shinonome voiced by Makoto Furukawa
- Rirui voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro
Riki Fukushima is directing and writing the scripts of the anime at studio HORNETS. Yoshihiro Nagamori designs the character. More production stuff details are unavailable at the time of writing.

Hajime Shinonome has spent his childhood in the slums, desperately seeking strength in order to survive . He now lives a carefree life as an adventurer in the village of Komai. One day, while on a quest in a dungeon, he finds a girl who is about to be eaten by a slime, the weakest monster! The girl's name is Rirui, and she entered the dungeon alone in order to survive. Hajime can’t bear to leave the little girl alone as she’s been abandoned by her parents. But when he starts caring for her, Hajime realises that Rirui is not a regular girl at all!
