The upcoming musical anime movie Toritsukare Otoko announced that it will premiere on 7 November in Japan. The main cast was also revealed at the same time. Recently, the anime introduced new cast members, as well as a musical number in a new trailer. The official website and social media accounts of the film also released a new key visual.

The new cast members of the film include:
- Cielo voiced by Hayato Kakizawa
- Boss Twist voiced by Takahiro Yamamoto
- Boss Salsa voiced by Shinji Kawada
- Pechka’s Mother voiced by Nana Mizuki
- Dadan voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa

The new trailer of the anime film previews the song ‘Fanfare ~Koi ni Ukarete~’ (Fanfare ~Giddy in Love~), performed by the two main voice actors Mayasa Sano and Moka Kamishiraishi as their respective characters. Atagi from Awesome City Club is contributing to the movie's soundtrack for the first time with five new songs as part of Toritsukare Otoko's background music. Wataru Takahashi directs the movie at Shin-Ei Animation with Naoyuki Miura penning the scripts. Masatsugu Arakawa is the character designer. The movie is based on Shinji Ishii’s novel of the same name.
The story revolves around a man named Giuseppe, who is known in his town as Toritsukare Otoko or The Obsessed Man. He earned his name because once Giuseppe is interested in something, he becomes completely obsessed and gets absorbed by it. From triple jump to detective work to learning a mouse language, Giuseppe’s interests are varied and unpredictable. But one day, he falls in love at first sight with a balloon seller girl named Pechka. However, it seems they can’t be together as there’s a deep sadness in Pechka’s heart. But with his array of skills and his talking mouse partner Cielo, Giuseppe is ready to face anything for Pechka and make their love come true.
