Captain America: Brave New World is hitting the theatres this Valentine’s Day.
A collaborative visual between Kohei Horikoshi’s popular manga turned-anime My Hero Academia and the upcoming Captain America movie was just revealed. Other than the visual, a short video celebrating the collaboration has also been posted on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the My Hero Academia anime. This is all part of the promotion for the upcoming movie Captain America: Brave New World, which will be released on Friday, February 14, 2025.
The collaborative video features both Hawks and the new Captain America - Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie). Since both of these superheroes’ main power is flight, the video makes use of their similarities. The visual was illustrated by Yoshihiko Magoshi, who is also one of the animators in the MHA anime. Moreover, the video also features a voiceover featuring Yuichi Nakamura, the voice actor for Hawks and many other anime characters. Previously, another collaboration between MHA and Avengers: Infinity War was released back in 2018 when the movie came out.
Unfortunately, the popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi came to an end in 2024. However, the anime is still ongoing. As per the latest reveal, the eighth and final season of the show is coming out in Fall 2025. Although fans don’t know the exact release date yet, everyone is excited to see the final battle between the heroes and the villains after so much war and bloodshed. Readers are also excited for the future as Horikoshi has confirmed that he’ll be working on a new manga.
