Mymo goes missing after Riyo and Zanka take down his lackeys.
The dark and twisted nature of Kei Urana’s Gachiakuta manga came back in full force in the most recent update. We finally got to meet Gountess Knock, the person whose blood was used to create the communication devices known as Chokers.
But the way Mymo treats him would make anybody’s blood boil. Even though his lackeys are defeated, it seems that the villain has one final card up his sleeve to make Gountess do his bidding, and it won’t be pretty for the Cleaners.

The issue opens with a flashback where we see Mymo visiting a man. He calls him Gountess Knock and asks if he likes high places. We see a pair of eyes, and in the next panel, we see the same eyes but now they seem tired and dangerous. The chapter, titled ‘Weakness’ begins with an illustration of Gountess Knock, think as a skeleton, sitting on a chair with many channels stuck to his hands. We see blood bags above his head which tell us how much Mymo has been taking from him. He says that she broke through, presumably talking about Riyo cutting through Felix’s shield.
The next panel moves to the stadium, where we see the aftermath of Riyo cutting Felix’s shield in half. Zanka neutralises Gil as he thinks she might do something if not tied up. Felix looks at the fallen letters of his shield. We learn that they were from his wife before she passed away in an accident. Felix asks Riyo to not pity her and tells her how after losing the love of his life, Mymo was the one to save him. He vows to protect Mymo even if he doesn’t have a shield. However, he goes down unconscious after just one kick from Riyo. She wonders where Mymo went as we can’t see a sign of him on the field.
We are taken back to Gountess’ room, where Mymo’s voice sounds from a speaker. He says that it took 20 years for his Chokers to overtake the old communication devices. When they met, Gountess was overflowing with ambition, but one day, he wanted to stop. Mymo goes on to say that it was a wise decision to time his rebellion in this moment when he was outside his rule. Mymo made sure to not control Gountess when he was turning the Doll Fest audience into his puppets, and that was his mistake. He also comments that it must have taken a lot for Gountess to keep this information from him, as he was ordered to report everything. It seems after years, he has developed a resistance to Mymo’s power.
Gountess tells him to stop his preamble and ask what he came here for. Since his defenses are gone, and the counter to his power has begun, he must have come to the Choker Maker for something as he always did the same when things turned. However, Gountess has no more weaknesses to exploit as Mymo has taken everything from him, including his family, freedom, and dignity. Him working with Rudo to take Mymo down isn’t a rebellion, it’s a revenge. If Mymo wants to kill him he can, but the revenge will go on with Rudo, and soon, the curtain will drop on him and his rule.
After listening to his words, Mymo utters the name of Too Lily. This shocks Gountess into silence. Mymo says that she is an old friend of Gountess, a special one who he gifted his first Choker to. It must have taken a lot of effort to keep her from him. However, when he saw Rudo, who got a gift from her, Mymo understood the connection. With this upper hand on him, Mymo orders the defeated Gountess to do one last thing for him.
Gachiakuta Chapter 147 review
I never thought I would ever feel the same kind of rage I felt while reading Gachiakuta than I did after learning Amo’s backstory. But Gountess’ condition at the hands of Mymo made me feel the same anger. Gachiakuta has a diverse array of characters with complicated personalities, but I’ve never wanted anyone to die more than Mymo. After sucking the life force out of Gountess for years, he doesn’t shy away from using his last weakness for his goal to become the king of the world. He has ruined so many lives for his stupid ambition that he doesn’t deserve to live anymore. I hope Rudo and the Cleaners take him down and we see Gountess finally getting to live a nice life with Too Lily. However, it doesn’t seem Mymo will go down without a fight.
