Six new voice actors have been cast as side characters in the series.
The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom anime, which is coming out this April, just announced six new cast members and the characters they’re going to voice. Based on Koki Fuyutsuki’s light novel series of the same name, the anime adaptation is being produced by Troyca. The story is a romance taking place in a fantasy world. Alongside new VAs, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the series also posted a brand new trailer featuring new characters.
The new cast members who have joined the project are:
- Shū Uchida (Aya in Mayonaka Punch and Jill Cervel in The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor) as Grace Martilas.
- Kazuyuki Okitsu (Zantetsu Tsurugi in Blue Lock and Jonathan Joestar in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures) as Fernando Ziltonia
- Miki Itō (Android 18 in Dragon Ball series andTouko Fujiwara in Natssume’s Book of Friends) and as Hildegarde Adenauer
- Kentarō Itō (Renji Abari in Bleach and Choji Akimichi in Naruto) as Georg Adenauer
- Sayaka Ōhara (Erza Scarlet in Fairy Tail and Narasaki Sachi in Gintama) as Cornelia Adenauer
- Yūya Murakami (Unmo in Dr. Stone and Yoshinori Susa in Kuroko’s Basketball) as Pierre
Previously, the other cast members who were announced are Yui Ishikawa as Philia, Kaede Hondo as Mia Adenauer, Takuya Satō as Oswald Parnacorta, Kōhei Amasaki as Julius Ziltonia, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Reichert Parnacorta, Sora Tokui as Riin, Ken Narita as Leonard, and Kanna Nakamura as Himari. Produced by Troyca, this anime series is being directed by Shuu Watanabe. Other staff members include Keiichiro Ōchi as a screenwriter, Shūhei Yamamoto as the character designer, Keiichiro Ōchi, Takayo Ikami, and Sayaka Harada as scriptwriters, and Takaaki Nakahashi as the music composer.
The story of the project revolves around Philia, who is known as the best Saint of all time in her kingdom and is set to marry the second prince Julius. However, Julius breaks off the engagement by saying Philia is too stoic and not charming and sells her off to a neighbouring country. Although Philia fears mistreatment, the people of her new home welcome her with open arms and she realises how overworked she was in her old country. As the heroine starts to live a good life, her homeland starts to fall apart without her protection as the Saint.
