See You Tomorrow at the Food Court story and other details

The anime is being adapted from the manga series by Shinichirō Nariie. The author first started posting it on their X (formerly Twitter) account back in 2019. In 2020, it started serialising on the Comic Newtype website by Kadokawa Shoten. A tankōbon volume has also been released recently.

The story of the series revolves around Wada and Yamamoto, who can’t be more different. Wada, who comes from a rich family, is quiet and aloof. On the other hand, the gyaru Yamamoto comes off as intimidating to most people. But people don’t know that Wada is a phone video game addict who’s in a love-hate relationship with a 2D character. Yamamoto, on the other hand, loves urban legends and is one-sidedly in love with her favourite YouTuber. The two girls have a secret. They meet up at the food court every day after school to rant over their life over some great dishes.
