However, fans didn’t get the chance to be sad for too long as a sequel series was immediately announced. A short trailer for the next season was also released, with a North Europe location being teased in the end.

Also known as BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, the series is a sequel to the BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! TV anime. They’re both a spin-off of the original series, BanG Dream! Created by Bushiroad and produced by Sanzigen, the Ave Mujica - The Die is Cast - anime began airing in January 2025. A manga adaptation by Pinfu Hiroyama began publishing at the same time in Bushiroad’s Comic Growl magazine. Kodai Kakimoto directs the series, with Yuniko Ayana writing the scripts.
The story revolves around Ave Mujica, a band created after the breakup of Crychic. The other band created in the same process is MyGO!!!!! Although Ave Mujica is popular, the leader Sakiko Togawa tries to control all the members to steer the band into the direction she wants to. This is due to her own past trauma. However, this drives a wedge between her and the other members, who are all battling their own insecurities, secrets, and trauma. The final episode of the series was emotional and beautiful, bringing tears to fans’ eyes. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the series to return again soon.
