Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi anime production details
Animation studio Zero-G (Grand Blue Dreaming, My Roommate is a Cat) is producing the upcoming rom-com anime. Daiji Iwanaga (My Roommate is a Cat, Farming Life in Another World) is the director for the project, while character designs are being done by Yo Himuro (Made in Abyss, My Dress-Up Darling). The cast of the series hasn’t been disclosed so far. The anime adaptation was also announced on the author’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
Written and illustrated by Takuma Yokota, the Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi manga began serialisation in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine. The story revolves around a serious prefect Sakuradaimon, who often admonishes Kohinata for her short skirt and bright hair. Although Kohinata is annoyed, she discovers that Sakuradaimon is actually quite dumb, despite being a prefect. When they get to know each other well, the difference between their personalities and nature don’t seem to matter as much. This funny and lighthearted high school love story is a must-read for all romcom lovers.
