The first three episodes of season 2 will be released theatrically in May.
Dandadan is definitely one of the Summer 2025 season’s most awaited anime titles. With how popular the Science SARU production’s first season was, people are excited to see what new bells and whistles the sequel is coming with. It was previously announced that the series will premiere worldwide on 3 July, 2025. The English-dubbed trailer for the upcoming season was also released recently.
Dandadan Season 2 English-dub trailer features some impressive voice acting
The new trailer was released on both the official Dandadan English X account and the GKIDS Films YouTube account. It gives us a look into the monster Okarun and Momo have to face next and it’s none other than Jin Enjoji, who has been possessed by a yokai spirit. Known as Evil Eye, this monster wants to destroy all humanity and starts by targeting Okarun. Get ready for some intense action as Momo and Okarun try to get out of a trapped basement where their lives are in danger. The season will adapt the Cursed House and Evil Eye arcs from Yukinobu Tatsu’s original manga.
The main English cast of the anime remains the same. This includes:

- Seiko Ayase voiced by Kari Wahlgreen
- Turbo Granny voiced by Barbara Goodson

Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora are directing the second season of the anime together. Hiroshi Seko is in charge of series composition while Kensuke Ushio is handling the music. Naoyuki Onda is designing the characters with Yoshimichi Kameda in charge of creature designing. Science SARU is returning to produce the show’s second season. The first three episodes of season 2 will be released theatrically outside of Japan as a movie in May under the name DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE. Season 2 will air simultaneously on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
